The Foot Master helps individuals manage a variety of foot conditions including:

Athlete's Foot

People who suffer with sweaty and hot feet can develop Athlete's Foot, a fungal infection which can cause severe itching, irritation and scaling of the skin, especially between the toes.

Nails can become infected with fungal spores which leads to thickening and discoloration.

Corns & Calluses

Corns & calluses form after repeated rubbing against a bony area of the foot and a shoe. Corns can appear on the tops and sides of your toes as well as between your toes. Calluses form on the bottom of the foot, especially under the heels or balls, and on the sides of toes. Don’t try to cut or remove corns and calluses yourself — make an appointment with now.

Toenail Cutting

It is very important to cut your toenails correctly - straight across. Any other way could result in the corners or sides of the nail to dig into the skin and become involuted. Other causes of involuted nails include shoe pressure, fungal infections or even poor foot structure. This painful condition can be eased with appropriate foot health treatment.

Diabetic Foot Care

If you suffer from Diabetes, foot health care is vitally important as foot-related complications are common.

Many people with Diabetes do not feel foot problems even after they have developed, therefore it is key to ensure you have regular foot examinations.

Fungal Nails

You will know if you have toenail fungus, because it can give nails an unattractive, deformed appearance as well as altering the nails colour. It can also spread to other nails, even fingernails. And if the infection is well established the nail becomes yellowish/green and crumbles. It is recommended that all footwear is treated with anti fungal sprays or tea tree.

Veruccas

Veruccas are caused by a virus and are spread by contact, either directly from person to person or via surface contact, especially when skin is moist (eg in swimming pools). All veruccas look different. You may only get one verucca, which looks smooth, or you may get a cluster. Each verruca can have a black spot because of a small blood vessel inside.
